It won t go all the way to the top.

Or for a couple of days and then not at all.
It does go down all the way.
I have had the car for 3 years and have never had any issues until now.
It will either be a problem with the switch or with the regulator motor.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
It s stuck in the down position.
When he turns the key on it gets very hot.
Switch was replaced with two used parts but that wasn t the problem.
We looked at the fuse relay which is on the left hand side of the drivers area.

If it s the switch it could partially work or not at all.
Now won t go up or down but all other windows work.
If it is making noises then you probably have a broken window regulator.
I opened the window module and found that the driver s side power window switch was burned.
Replacing the faulty window motor will commonly correct this concern.
When i roll my windows down from the driver side controller the windows come right back up.
And i can pull it up to within a quarter inch but sometimes it slips back down.
It ll go up to about an inch or two from the top.
Its a pain at the drive thru.

The rely fuse is a silver rectangle two prong fuse.

I have to actually hold the button down for the window to stay down.
Driver side window will work when it wants.
The affected window may start working again after the motor cools off.
Now it won t work at all.
Usually if it s the motor it will overheat and stop working partially roll down and stop then after a while it will work again and move the window another inch or two.
